Hogan was constantly pulling rank after that too though. I'm sure I remember Vince being chosen for his WrestleMania XIX opponent because Hogan didn't want to lose to anybody. That might just be my own canon though. But then there was Michaels at SummerSlam '05, Orton at SummerSlam '06 (so much for the Legend Killer). He also didn't want to lose to Austin at Mania X-8.

I'm genuinely surprised that they managed to get the absolutely shit-kicking at the hands of Brock out of him.
