After Cody Rhodes posted a picture with The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll on a "scouting trip" at a venue earlier this month, Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that Cody and The Young Bucks are in talks with multiple venues to self-finance a 10,000 seat show in 2018. The report noted that the show, which has been talked about for months, is currently planned to be called "All In" and mentioned Chicago, London, San Francisco, and Ontario, California as possibilities for where it could take place.

The idea originated from a Twitter exchange between Dave Meltzer and Cody in May, with Cody taking it as a challenge when Meltzer answered "not any time soon" when someone asked if Ring of Honor could sell over 10,000 tickets to an event. Cody and the Bucks would be partnering with ROH on the show if they're able to reach an agreement.
Cody and Bucks still need to get ROH's permission to do the show and no non-WWE promotion since WCW's demise has pulled off a 10k crowd show.

After Gabe Sapolsky hyped him up as someone he's been trying to book for years, it was announced today that Daisuke Sekimoto will be wrestling at EVOLVE shows on April 5th and 6th and the WWN Supershow on the 6th in Louisiana. Sekimoto will be in action exclusively at those events, which will take place at the Pontchartrain Center.

Sekimoto, who received votes for Most Outstanding Wrestler in the 2016 Observer awards and in years past, wrestles for Big Japan Pro Wrestling, as well as AJPW and other promotions. His matches for WWN will be the first time he's appeared stateside in several years. No opponents for him have been announced yet.

EVOLVE will be going against a Revolution Pro Wrestling show on April 6th, with Hiroshi Tanahashi previously confirmed for RevPro. Tanahashi (along with Kenny Omega) is also scheduled for ROH's Supercard of Honor XII on April 7th in New Orleans.

The idea is to attempt to do a Lucha Libre television show based around high flyers. The first show will be a pilot to attempt to sell the series and has a lineup of mostly wrestlers that work for The Crash promotion in Mexico.

The first show lists:

Rey Mysterio & Pentagon (using that name) vs. Rush & John Morrison
Jack Evans, Hurricane Helms & Maximo vs. Garza Jr., La Mascara & Daga
MVP vs Sammy Guevara
Keira & Lacey Lane vs. Vanilla Vargas & Taya
Demus 3:16 vs. Mascarita Dorada (who was El Torito in WWE)
Mr. 450 vs. Willie Mack

Cody Rhodes will be defending his ROH World Championship against Jay Lethal for Revolution Pro Wrestling at York Hall on December 8th.

ESPN ran a profile on Joey Janela and his career in pro wrestling. In the piece, he says he originally wanted Matt Riddle vs. Ken Shamrock for his Spring Break show over WrestleMania weekend, but Shamrock was asking for $10,000 and they got Dan Severn for 10 percent of that.

PWX announced Juice Robinson for January’s X16 tournament.

Angelico announced that he’ll no longer be wrestling for AAA or residing in Mexico as of January 1st, 2018. He thanked everyone in AAA and Mexico for his time there and noted that he’ll be taking bookings out of Spain for next year.

As Mike Johnson wrote on the site yesterday, “The show was never slated to be a special and was produced as a house show, but WWE did film it with several cameras (they typically film every live event) so they would have it in their archives to offer via the Network down the line if they choose to do so. The show itself was written by Michael Hayes, who was the person that pitched the revival of the Starrcade name back in June. We are told that Hayes, realizing that WWE was running Greensboro over Thanksgiving weekend, seized on the importance of the timing and the tradition in the market to pitch that the show be branded as a "Starrcade" event. Vince McMahon approved the idea and it was announced several months later. The show was specifically written by Hayes with an eye on paying tribute to names who were important to to the market during the Jim Crockett Promotions era and with throwback graphics for the show.”

In asking around, PWInsider.com has been told that McIntyre is already rehabbing his biceps injury. It is hoped he will return sometime in early April. Obviously, returning for Wrestlemania weekend, when the next NXT Takeover is set, is the goal.

"From like, literally, the day they told him he couldn't do it anymore, he has flown himself all over the United States to all different doctors to figure out what he could do to help turn that 'no' into a 'yes'," Brie said. "There's been like eight doctors who are like, 'You can wrestle'. A lot of doctors can't see why he can't get in that ring again."

Bryan has been out of action since 2015 after retiring due to his history with concussions. Bryan has since been visiting doctors who have apparently cleared him to wrestle, however WWE has been apprehensive about clearing him.

"I think [the WWE is] looking at it," Brie said. "He is on such a mission to get back into that WWE ring, it's crazy, which caused a lot of arguments in our marriage in the beginning, especially when I was pregnant."
