It's not a R* thing. I bought TLAD and didn't feel rushed at any point in the game, same when I bought TBoGT. I played both DLCs at my own pace and loved them both.

I hate the crowbarring of zombies into random games but I thought I'd give UN a try with it being RDR and R* but it's the same as every other zombie game I've seen on the 360.
You stand somewhere, zombies charge at you from all directions. You kill them all, you move on to the next area.

It seems to have stripped away a lot of the fun RDR features. No hunting or skinning animals, no gambling, no buying/selling, no bounties, no jobs, no fame, no honour/dishonour.
