The 'studies' are social science bullshit, the same type of studies that tried to say games can cause sexism/racism/violence.
These things are products and the loot box situation should have been a convo between gamers and publishers. It is beyond why you thing setting precedent that govt can legislate in-game content given every past attempt ever. Particularly somebody who follows the industry.
Not two months ago Trump was putting a mass shooting onto the game industry, and here we are welcoming govt regulation like these subject will never intertwine ever.
And why? Cause some 'thing' takes too long to grind for.
