Nacho Beristain: 'I don't want to see a 'Juan Manuel Marquez-Manny Pacquiao 5'

Quote:
Hall of famer and considered as one of the greatest trainers in the history of boxing, Nacho Beristain revealed that his prized fighter, Juan Manuel Marquez, who decided to rest after his convincing win against Mike Alvarado earlier this year, will not fight the Filipino ring icon for the fifth time. “He will not fight Manny Pacquiao, I don’t want to see him in that fight,” Nacho said when interviewed by Miguel Rivera of Boxing Scene this evening, Oct. 3, 2014.

Marquez is being considered by some observers as the PacMan’s nemesis because of his ability to execute his game plan against the Filipino ring icon. Juan Manuel had two loses to Manny Pacquiao. Their first meeting was declared a draw, but according to some observers who were present during the event and the admission of one of the judges that he made a mistake when he failed to score a 10-7 favoring the "PacMan," it was Manny who won the fight.

Their second and third fight were overshadowed by controversies, according to Marquez, he was the winner of those fights even though the judges had already given the credit to Mann Pacquiao. When they met in the ring for the fourth time, Marquez was about to surrender when something good happened to him. He knocked Manny Pacquiao out.

It was an unexpected win because Manny was ahead by points before he got KO’d by Marquez and if the Mexican's corner man decided to stop the fight because of Marquez's condition, Manny Pacquiao would be declared winner via TKO. Unluckily, it didn’t happen. For some observers, Nacho Beristain was right when he decided to ignore the fifth fight between Marquez and Pacquiao because according to them, Manny will knockout Marquez.
I would consider it a shallow victory for Marquez since he lost the first three fights, was losing and could have lost the 4th fight and refused a fifth fight because he was scared of being knocked out and also Manny gave him 3 chances but Marquez won't return the favor.
