I mean if you're worried about the scale of the threat in infinity war being less than Guardians 2, don't sweat it. Ego will be an insect compared to thanos once he gets the infinity guantlet assembled.

Also, Nebula going after thanos alone is totally setting up for her to be reduced to the decaying zombie mess she was in the comic.
