Until it is convenient. The idea that Kane and Undertaker are still "brothers" persisted even though the whole "brothers who aren't really brothers are stupid, stop saying that" era in WWE.

Pretty sure that at some point in future, Yoko will be "Japanese" again to serve some purpose in putting someone over. Like, perhaps, Shinsuke being the "first Japanese world champion in WWE since Yokozuna" or somesuch.
