She's hot and she plays a cosplaying bitch and that appeals to geeks. It's smart to ease her into the roster with something like that. They clearly have a ten year plan for her to be around for ages. As I've said, I'll probably end up loving her when everyone else is saying "I'm sick of her," when she's actually good.
