I dunno if it's the Marvel fanboy in me or not (I do love DC btw) but "that's not a hug, I'm opening the door" and "let's stop staring before we look creepy - too late, losers" just resonates with me so much more than "I didn't think you were real - only when I need to be" or "is she with you? - I thought she was with you"... or any attempt of humor in DC films.
Obviously it's more to do with the writers of the script, but the humor in the MCU films is always so much fun, whereas DC's always seemed forced and a bit flat.
