WWE.com announced in an article today that Michael Cole would be missing Raw on Monday to attend his son's wedding. Tom Phillips will fill in for Cole on play-by-play alongside Corey Graves and Booker T, which means that Phillips and Graves will be on commentary for both Raw and SmackDown next week.

The article notes that it's only the second time in Cole's 20 years with WWE that he has missed a week of television.

The auction, which was last up to $1,775, is up on Ebay. Because of legal threats by WWE, they have decided not to wear the tights any longer.

According to a well placed source, New York City, Toronto and Chicago are being eyed for future TV taping locations for 2018. At one point, Chicago was planned for a live event before the end of 2017 but the company decided to hold off on those plans.

John Gaburick has been taking the lead in recent creative meetings and conference calls with talent. Ed Nordholm has had a much less reduced role in the day to day running of the company, PWInsider.com has been told as another Anthem executive has been far more involved overseeing things. Nordholm is still involved in the legal affairs of the company and the Global Wrestling Network.

There will be a big push for Alberto el Patron when he returns.

The 12/9 WrestlePro event in Rahway, NJ will feature a lot of material being filmed for Impact, so expect a lot of talents on that show. Eli Drake and Alberto el Patron have already been announced. Sienna will also be on that event.

In asking around, no one seemed to know except for one person who believed he had off for a personal commitment. It was weird timing, since the shows were in California, where McGuinness resides. If he's back on TV next week, it's a non-story. If he isnt, it's something we have to dig deeper into.

We were not able to 100% confirm why but it is likely because of the ongoing legal issues with Buff Bagwell and Scott Levy suing the company regarding the company not paying royalties on WWE Network material for content that talents would receive royalties for if it was released via physical media, such as DVDs. I speculated on this in an article earlier this week and this morning, confirmed the company specifically made a decision to not release Thunder (which is 100% ready to go, we are told) and instead release World Class Championship Wrestling episodes instead. WCCW was already slated to be the October "classic content" and we are told that the Network will be promoting the WCCW drop with an "Everything Bigger in Texas" theme.

Sunday Night Heat, which was slated to be added before the end of the year, is also now on the backburner, we are told.
