"As demonstrated in the memorandum of law filed herewith, plaintiff is likely to prevail on the merits of its claims because Impact Ventures LLC is insolvent, and, as a result, plaintiff is entitled to exercise controlling voting rights in the company pursuant to an equity pledge agreement between the plaintiff, Ms. Salinas [Note from Mike: Dixie Carter] and Impact Ventures. Furthermore, if not enjoined, defendants' conduct will cause irreparable hard to Plaintiff."
One of the claims recently revealed from Corgan's lawsuit. According to the judge, neither Dixie nor anyone on TNA's management will be allowed to sell the company till the case is finished. Also Corgan gets final say for any potential new deals during this time as terms of the restraining order against Dixie. Courts also get final say over any sale regarding TNA's assets while the case is active.

Terms from Corgan's lawsuit in regards if TNA refuses to admit they are insolvent or they broke the agreement with Corgan when he helped fund the company.

Since then, each company went in opposite directions. One created stars and put on great shows even with a major television handicap of a horrible time slot. The other squandered talent and did angles that nobody bought, thinking it was the only way, and made no stars. New Japan is now multiple times ahead of TNA, even in the United States where New Japan’s audience, when you factor in the homes available, is roughly identical to that of TNA -- even on a far worse television night and airing matches ten months old.

In fact, TNA was even able to be profitable for a time, although it overextended itself in 2010 when trying to directly challenge WWE, signing Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash, Jeff Hardy, and Rob Van Dam, and moving to Monday nights. The second Monday Night War was hardly like the first one. Instead of a legendary conflict, it was pro wrestling’s equivalent to the 1967 Six Day War, a quick and painful one-sided massacre.

A mistake was made right off the bat as instead of starting one hour earlier in a move that would give TNA the edge, Bischoff made the call to go head-to-head. That may have ended up making no difference in the long run as they did switch time slots weeks later, but that didn’t work out either and they were quickly off Mondays.

The other killer financially was a move that seemingly had to be made: moving out of Orlando and touring arenas for television tapings although they couldn’t make it work fiscally,

TNA is still alive today, although it is in intensive care and the pulse is weakening. The health issues may date back to that period mentioned above, but the critical condition dates back to July 15, 2014."
Observer was able to pin point the date when everything went downhill for TNA leading to their on-going financial crisis. They actually managed to rebound a bit from the disaster Hogan and Bischoff did to the company in 2010 but mid-2014 is when it became impossible for TNA to recover under Dixie.

Official statement by WWE's main lawyer implied the company likely will challenge the results and claimed the lawyer in charge of the class action concussion lawsuit is pushing to get the WWE blamed.

On Bischoff on Wrestling, James Ellsworth explained that AJ Styles protected him when he tucked his chin taking the Styles Clash. This is what he had to say:

I got it back at the last second. He took care of me too. In practice everything was fine and all that. It’s just that instinct thing for a wrestler to, “tuck your chin.” That’s the one move you don’t do it on. I felt so bad about it afterwards. They were all cool about it and everything because it looked good on TV. It looked like he killed me. It’s not like it looked bad or anything. It was just that instinct of, “tuck your chin.” I’ve been told to do it for fourteen years and that’s all it was. I was ok. It was fine. I didn’t get hurt obviously and AJ is, like I said earlier in my humble opinion, is the best in the world. He knows how to adjust to things and everything was ok afterwards.

Some other sheet news includes:
  • ESPN had a recent article about the rise of Kenny Omega's career in Japan. http://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id/1...-true-champion
  • Dixie Carter recently responded to the terms of Billy Corgan's lawsuit claiming TNA is neither insolvent nor would allow Corgan to have more influence on the company prior to purchasing it. Claimed Corgan has been trying to replace people on TNA's management with more pro-Corgan people to give him a better chance at owning the company.
  • According to TNA's former head of talent Bruce Prichard, TNA's management used to do several scummy things in order to delay paying talent with the worst being them legit not bothering to mail the checks to them. https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCirc...na_pay_issues/
  • In a "WWE Did You Know" type fact, Clash of Champions 2016 was the first time in Brian Kendrick's WWE career he had a singles match on ppv.
