There was no big sports competition last night with the NBA and NHL finals both not in action. The biggest competition was "America's Got Talent" on NBC, which did 12.5 million viewers head-to-head with SmackDown ...

For a year-over-year comparison, which will get very interesting next month when we can compare the live Tuesday night numbers, SmackDown this week in 2016 did 2.169 million viewers and a 0.69 rating in the 18-49 demo, so those numbers were up eight and seven percent respectively this year.

At this time in 2016, the show was taped on Tuesdays and then aired on the USA Network on Thursdays.
Outside of one show, Smackdown seems to settle in around the 2.3 million as its new average for the post-Superstar Shakeup recovery.

WWN also announced that they're allowing Riddle out of his bookings for EVOLVE on July 8th and 9th to pursue another opportunity. Riddle will be facing Tomohiro Ishii in a non-tournament match at Revolution Pro Wrestling's British J-Cup show in London on the 8th.
Supposedly not the first time during the past year of Riddle being terrible with keeping track of his bookings. Link to announcement: https://twitter.com/OfficialPWG/stat...59471178735616

The mandatory meetings were described to us as a class on cyber security threats with an expert from a cyber security firm brought in by the company to give a presentation to the roster. The presentation broke down different ways that one may find themselves tricked into inadvertently allowing their security to be breached. Talents were warned not to even accept USB drives as gifts, even if they were from beautiful women promising naked photos, which talent were told was a scenario that has happened to celebrities in the past ...

We are told that the company also gave out an amendment to their social media policy for talents to sign, although what that amendment may have been, we have not yet confirmed. WWE also stressed that no one but the talents and WWE social media teams should have access to the talents' social media accounts.
