You sell it. Play to your strengths. Of course Nakamura has only been on the main roster for a few months. But you don't need to point that out. Why would you? Just point out that the dude has the best win-loss percentage in WWE history, is a 15-year veteran and is a record setting and undefeated Intercontinental Champion. All those things are simultaneously true statements. Tell a story where you can. Because viewers that are still watching are not going to be chased away by this, but it might help build his cache with newer viewers.

For example, when JR used to tell me that Billy Gunn was pound-for-pound the toughest man in the WWF, it had an effect on me. It earmarked the guy for emotional investment. Now imagine doing that with someone good.

And put Christian on commentary too.
