3) Konami recently debunked speculation and rumors regarding the cut Mission 51 being both finished and included in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition. According to the company, Phantom Pain never had a different ending planned and Mission 51 was actually meant to be a prequel to the first Metal Gear game.
