With good reason. This was fucking tremendous. Horror elements aren't anything innovative. Jump scares, building tension, disturbing viuals, etc. Basic fundamentals, but basic fundamentals executed extremely well. The story and characters being so good helps as well. The kids do a fantastic job.

And Skarsgard. God damn. Comparing Curry and skarsgard is like comparing Nicholson and ledger. Apples and Oranges at the end of the day. That said, I think I prefer Skarsgard's It. Curry is great but he seems more like just a murderous clown. Skarsgard comes off more as a thing pretending to be a clown.
