Currently on "Disc 3" of FF9 HD, just got the boat. Forgot how short the discs are on this game, I'm only at 25ish hours and I've had the game idling for a few of those. Alexandria looked like shit at the beginning of the game, the pre-rendered backdrops looked incredibly poor quality compared to the upscaled character models. Since then it looks pretty good though, dunno if I just adjusted to it or they actually put some work in after the opening sequence. Still this.
