Paul Levesque, on this morning's WWE conference call, said that Ciampa suffered a sprained ankle and was feeling a lot better today.

He said that as of this moment, the plans for tomorrow night's Ciampa & Gargano vs. Authors of Pain ladder match in Chicago for the NXT tag team titles are still on. But he said that it's up to the medical side if they will clear him tomorrow.

Levesque said that right now they don't have a specific backup plan in place.

The 7/2 show will be available live on New Japan World, and air on AXS from 8 p.m. to midnight on the following Friday.

We are told they have WWE Network plans, at least tentative plans for original content they will create and add, mapped out 6-9 months in advance. WWE touring schedules are usually locked in at least 12 months in advance, if not more. Creative is week to week with a tentative long-term outlook that changes as often as Vince McMahon blinks. Everything can change on a dime based on Vince's call in all aspects of the company.

H said if this match doesn’t work out, he doesn’t know. He will decide then. He said that he likes to look at things from a positive point of view. Itami went from being a big star in Japan to having a lot of setbacks. Part of it was Itami finding his way in NXT. It happens at times. It’s a confidence and comfort thing. But he is a good guy and has worked hard so when he got injured he felt bad for Itami. H thinks he is a big player and he will rise to the occasion. If he doesn’t, they will discuss it and he will see what Itami wants to do and they will go from there.
