Just listen to people of color, Dale. Please. When they get uncomfortable and go "Yeah, cool, man," consider that it may not have been interpreted as a respectful discourse, and it may have been someone feeling like they weren't being heard by a white dude. I'm not saying that is what happens in every situation, but just consider it next time, and consider how hegemonic you are being with your own biases and definitions. That's all.
