Vince trying to shoe-horn the WWE style for both the in-ring stuff and show itself did serious damage to the brand. Being stubborn on not wanting to have the show taped before Smackdown was another big blunder for the brand as well since crowds were not sticking around to see the gimmick-based stuff he was presenting.

It still doesn't feel like classic WCW cruiser quality but its a lot more closer to what people hoped the division would be after the CWC.
This is the best answer it's noticeably better than it was they are able to do things that are closer to the CWC and there are no goofy storylines and way less grounding of the competitors as Vince McMahon seem to like to do so I'd say it is definitely stepped up its become a show that I look forward to if that's any help.
