I'm actually talked myself into wanting to see John Cena defeat Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania.

Keeping The Shield together for now is probably the best move, as they can still move a lot of merchandise and be an attraction as a unit. Why ruin that and have these three need to find identities on their own? Especially since being the heavy in the background who doesn't say much helps out Reigns so much.

The Shield defeat Kane & The New Age Outlaws and let everybody know that the NXT Generation is here, and that the Reality Era has set in and these old guys can't hang with them anymore. I also think that The Shield will then set their targets back on what their goal was as tensions began to seep into their ranks -- namely proving that they are the baddest faction on the planet. You have a referee bump in the John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt match, and Luke Harper and Erick Rowan will be able to enter the fray and help out Bray. It looks like Cena is about to taste defeat when the lights go out and suddenly The Shield are in the ring with The Wyatt Family. Ambrose, Reigns & Rollins cancel out Luke Harper & Erick Rowan, and even physically put their hands on Bray. A superkick from Rollins into an Attitude Adjustment from Cena as the referee is coming to would be a sick way to end this match.

Don't say it doesn't accomplish anything:

* Bray Wyatt and his Family have had their purpose in WWE derailed by a group they thought they were done with when they beat them twice.

* Wyatt looks like he had Cena beat.

* Cena gets to keep his "legacy" alive, and that is good for merchandise.

* If kids are going to dress up as members of The Shield and buy all their potential merchandise, then having The Shield help out John Cena on the grandest stage of them all and having Cena endebted to them is a great way to transfer some of the Cenation's power onto Ambrose, Reigns & Rollins.

* John Cena gets a big win and that logically puts him in line for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Cena and Bryan have had on-air discussions about having a fair match with one another. This time Bryan would be the champion and Cena would be the guy with something to prove. And with his admittedly tainted victory over Bray Wyatt, Cena could still have something of a chip on his shoulder, leading to some "I need to beat you, Daniel" moments. Can you imagine an Extreme Rules Match between these two that starts off being contested with respect for one another, but then breaks down into absolute anarchy as it becomes apparent both men will do whatever it takes to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion (something Cena has never accomplished in his career that Daniel Bryan has, adding even more psychological depth to the rivalry).

* We approach Extreme Rules and we have The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield as a logical match for that card. What "extreme" gimmick is there that allows factions to battle? One that hasn't been run into the ground and that Triple H is a fan of? One that would coincide with an NWA/WCW Icon potentially debuting in the WWE?
