Look, don't get me wrong, dude, to an extent that's a fair argument you make, but in a half-hour in real time, in FO universe time you could pass days, weeks or even months (that's stretching it, but I'm sure it's possible), and if you're spending the majority of your in-game days using the same weapons over and over in combat it does stand to reason they'll deteriorate. That's not to say with the non-unique weapons you can't open your inventory and combine a bunch of them to restore your weapons. Hell, if you're lucky enough to have a bunch of weapon repair kits, they restore your weapons to 100%.
