Good/Bad news regarding this week's viewership.

The good being it went up compared to last week despite the stiff competition from NCAA bowl games. The bad being WWE already starting 2018's Road to Mania lower than last year which set a new post-1997 record for lows. Also bad with RAW getting decimated in the rankings for the week.

This time last year, the January 2, 2017 Raw drew 3,047,000 viewers.

Raw was down to #10, 14 and 15 on cable in the 18-49 demographic for the night, with lots of college football stuff and VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop” ahead of it.

Hourly breakdown:

8PM: 2,969,000
9PM: 2,912,000
10PM: 2,714,000
