That's like saying Austin/Rock were faces of WWE during who certain periods, but Mr Wrestlermania, Mr WWE, the guy who was there through everything was The Undertaker.

Sting is similar to that. He was present in every era of WCW and while there were times that others superceded him as the man, he was also relied on by the company at certain times. He was always there, in good times and bad and if you think of WCW in any given year, Sting is one of the first, if not the first, name that comes to mind.

He is Mr WCW and that, for me, transcends anything that Dibiase ever did, as good as he was.
