The difference being "What If"s usually are outlandish out of character scenarios. Whereas there are plenty of Batman limited series or one-shots that are not an "alternate reality", just someone telling a good Batman story.


ALTHOUGH on the subject of "What If"s, I have heard about a possible Superman: Red Son movie.
