Observer speculating Strowman having no clear path or plan for Mania might be due to WWE wanting him as an emergency plan for Reigns in case they can't do Lesnar-Reigns at Mania. Same for being an emergency plan for Lesnar in case the Reigns roid story becomes a serious PR issue for the company.
Also teased WWE is fully aware of Reigns issues and struggles as a top star but are not actually interested in fixing it.

But it is very interesting because there is concern about Roman Reigns, for sure, but right now the idea is that he is the main event at Wrestlemania. But there is- you know- there is a Braun Strowman back-up plan clearly in place, whatever that means.
