Beth Phoenix will be part of the commentary team for WWE's upcoming Mixed Match Challenge series.
WWE announced today that Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Phoenix would be calling the show. Mixed Match Challenge is a 12-episode series that will debut on Facebook Watch at 10 p.m. Eastern time on January 16th. It will air live for 20 minutes after SmackDown each week and will feature a single-elimination mixed tag team tournament that includes wrestlers from both Raw and SmackDown.
Phoenix previously made a guest appearance on the Mae Young Classic announce team to call Jazzy Gabert, Kay Lee Ray & Tessa Blanchard vs. Sarah Logan, Santana Garrett & Marti Belle on the second day of tapings in July. Phoenix was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over WrestleMania weekend last year.
Renee Young and Byron Saxton will be the hosts for Mixed Match Challenge.

Paige was injured wrestling at the Nassau Coliseum last Wednesday during a six woman tag when Sasha Banks nailed her from behind with a kick to the upper back. The belief is that Banks may have accidentally kicked her a little high. Paige went down and suffered what is believed to be a stinger before being walked out.

Some other sheet news includes: - This week's RAW's ratings and viewer numbers have been delayed till tomorrow due to New Years holiday. With the holidays and how competitive the college bowls games were, possible Smackdown could beat RAW this week for viewership. Next week also has stiff competition with RAW going against the NCAA Football title game.
- According to PWI, Braun Strowman missed last weekend's set of house shows due to illness but managed to recover in time for last night's RAW.
