After a pretty dreary 2015 and 2016, the WWE actually manages to deliver some sort of "buzz" in 2017. Not on the level of anything resembling a boom, but more on the level of CM Punk's pipe-bomb. I think we'll begin to see some potential "stars" emerge. In a shock to internet fans, more so than Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe and Kota Ibushi lead that charge, although on different levels. Joe interacts with Cena and looks bad-ass so people believe in him, while Ibushi gets a push as the Cruiserweight Champion in WWE and looks cool as hell as he does practically whatever he wants and takes the belt elsewhere and defends it, basically doing what people hoped CM Punk would do with the WWE Title in 2011.
