I get what you're saying, Dale. It's just that in this context, I don't care. If you took it to be a blanket statement -- cool. That's your deal, and you can be irritated by it. Enjoy your freedom. I'm sure there are plenty of white people who could read that and think "Well, that's not me, but I can totally get the point." It was a point about the luxury of idealism benefiting off a society that has never discriminated against them racially, which you agreed with. If you choose to get annoyed by the wording, have at it.
