  • During a recent investors meeting, Nintendo revealed they currently have plans for more mobile games with the goal to release 2-3 games per year.

  • According to Nintendo, they have managed to sell around 1.5 million NES Classics since its launch which is around the same amount produced so far. They did apologize for issues related to production and underestimating the real demand there was for a mini NES.

  • Nintendo revealed Amiibo sales have declined by almost 70% within the past fiscal year (20.5 million to 6.5 million) with the official reason related to Smash Bros Wii U/3DS as the main interest for amiibos and all their major characters already being released.

4) Update to recent Zenimax-Oculus/Facebook lawsuit news as a jury ruled in favor of Zenimax to the amount of $500 million. The jury agreed Oculus' founder broke NDA agreements he had with Zenimax but rejected the $6 billion amount Zenimax wanted and claims of Oculus purposely stealing VR trade secrets for their Rift headset.
