Yeah, a lot of people quit dark souls right away because of the difficulty, but if you stick with it just long enough to get a real understanding of the combat and the strategy around it, you'll get hooked.

There is no other series, not even the witcher, where every fight is as tense as it is in dark souls. Though that is something that could be a turn off for some people.
