It does the job in a basic way and has enough customisation to be great, but if you use things that don't call the GPU in Direct 3D, it won't work. Like not sure about Fire Pro, but I can't record Wrestling Revolution.

OBS and XSplit are great, just personal preference on either of those. They're designed to stream, but you can just point it to a window to record and do all the streaming overlays and shit if you want, then point it to do a local record to file instead of streaming to Twitch etc.
