2) Activision announced the standalone version of Modern Warfare Remastered will go on sale on June 27th for PS4 and a rumored July 27th date for PC and Xbox One.

3) In a "Did You Know Gaming" type fact, today is the 21st anniversary of the Nintendo 64's launch in Japan. North America's launch was on September 1996 while Europe didn't get the console till March 1997.

4) During a recent interview with Kotaku, Final Fantasy XIV director Noaki Yoshida stated he is interested in porting the game to the Xbox One and Switch but only if Microsoft and Nintendo support cross-platform play. It was implied Sony has final say over the matter since Square Enix doesn't want to spend money on platform specific servers and Sony is currently against cross-platform play with Microsoft platforms.
