Think he ended up being a classic case of the WWE not knowing what to do with him and by the time they had something, bigger and more interesting names started to show up in NXT. Spent almost a year just doing house show type stuff till they could come up with something meaningful for him.
The hacker gimmick had some potential but they never really went anywhere with it.
