You’re allowed to prefer that if you want, but I think things worked out really tidy for them. They did pretty well navigating the Cody/Zayn dynamic. My idea was to have Reigns and Zayn be the last two in the Chamber in Montreal. Zayn vs. LA Knight (still technically a heel) at Mania. Knight would have been trying to worm into The Bloodline’s good graces his own way. Zayn would help Cody in the main event. Then you’d get the windfall of Zayn being in Saudi Arabia.

But the way they did it worked. I think Reigns/Cody made total sense as the main event.
