Don't think it is a big deal shutting down some stores. I have 2 locations in the same mall and 1 literally 2 blocks away of said mall. I am sure the Switch is helping sales. Think the main problem was even with the sales of the Switch, it doesn't seem to have been enough to counter the PS4/Xbox One/etc being down a lot more than they were expecting. Even in terms of games, Switch games likely didn't come close to covering the decline from other big games released in the quarter and previous quarter. They do make a chunk of sales from selling digital codes but that was also a lot lower than they were expecting.

Only real bright side is since their non-gaming sales are still good, they pretty much are just replacing those gaming stores with more non-gaming stores.
