Someone explain this X-Men comic spoiler I just read to me

Apparently they are bringing the adult Jean Grey back to life..... but also apparently, they just killed off the young Jean Grey who was for whatever reason still in the present.

How does adult Jean Grey exist if they killed young Jean Grey?
