Yeah, I think the best they could do is play up the fact that he was something special elsewhere. WWE fans have basically known him as the guy who got hyped up and got the "he beat Cena" rub (that everyone and their grandma has gotten over recent years) just to build to him losing in 10 minutes to Jinder Mahal via distraction. He's nothing special in their eyes. Tons of guys have done what he's done early in their career only to end up as midcard fodder. Hyping him as something special based on his WWE merits just insults people's intelligence.
