Well here's the thing. Unlike most guys, after his loss he came out and gave a mission statement (honestly, nobody ever does this). It wasn't a shitty storyline promo. He said "Just being back isn't good enough, I want the WWE title" and then he squashed Big Cass (it wasn't a match but it was a squash).
I mean, I'm not overly confident, but they never booked Bryan that strong EVER even when he was champ lol. He killed Cass. I'm hoping that's the end of their feud. I know it's partially because of Cass's heat, but it could play to Bryan's advantage.
...until he jobs to Jinder even though they aren't on the same show.

I kinda get the feeling WWE doesn't think as highly of Cass as people are afraid they do. So squashing Cass doesn't really say much. Guy seems like a jobber.
