The fucking voice chat saga continues.
There's a LAN mode for local play for users all on the same router accessed by holding left on the left stick and L and R in a local play lobby. Someone who was playing like this had a mic on the headphones he was using connecting to the Switch and weirdly, his voice started coming through the other players Switch speakers.
So the Switch can do voice chat, but put it behind an app because fuck knows why.
