According to CBS Sports, Mauro Ranallo is done with the WWE but won't be officially released till his contract expires this August.

Ranallo's close friend, MMA personality Bas Rutten has publicly blamed Ranallo's announcing partner JBL as being the cause of Ranallo's latest bout with depression. Yesterday, JBL publicly wished Ranallo well and remarked that he was playing a "heel" on television, apparently in reference to the idea that his comments may have sparked Ranallo's problems.

A WWE spokesperson told PWInsider.com earlier today that Ranallo remains under contract to the company until August 2017.

CBS is one of the owners of Showtime, which is broadcasting a boxing event tonight featuring Ranallo on commentary
