Isn't there a movement in India where if you aren't Hindi then they don't even count you as Indian? Isn't Mahal like Punjabi Sikh or something? And isn't each region of India radically different from the other ones?

I've only got a limited understand of India through family and friends -- I should really know more about it -- but I've always felt the whole "any Indian will do" idea that the WWE has to be kind of racist -- in a tokenism sort of way. I'd personally feel condescended if the WWE tried to tell me that Jinder Mahal was my national champion. If they put the belt on Buddy Murphy and tried to tell me that he represents all Australians, I'd rightly tell them to fuck off.
