I just got a cheap Bluetooth adapter that plugs into USB. Then just turn it on to detect new devices and google instructions on how to sync whatever controller you want. For an Xbox One controller you would just have to hit the wireless sync button or connect it via usb long enough to register. It will then register as a device on your PC and Xbox One controller support is fully integrated into windows so you don't need any 3rd party software.
