Ross was a lot better during this year's US show than last year but think at this point, he'd be better off as just a color commentator or maybe as a third guy for live events. NJPW's style is a bit too hectic for him and it showed badly in the past and at times with this year's US show.
I do find it kind of weird that Ross struggles since he was awesome calling Dunne vs Bate II. But I guess he only had to call the one match that night, and at his age it'd be harder to keep up throughout at 4 hour show.
