Figured they would have at least used Mojang's account system for non-Xbox systems. Nintendo probably doesn't care either way since the most important thing for them is having the game after being the only major platform provider to not have it for years.

Same for Rocket League since the developer is pushing for cross-platform play and Nintendo wanting to mitigate another Minecraft situation from happening again.

Only loser for both is Sony since they refused cross-platform play and pulled a Nintendo with their reasons.
