In real life wasps and hornets are like the dickhead versions of bees while bees themselves are very useful for life in general. Also wasps being terrible because they probably take some pleasure in stinging people since their stingers don't fall off unlike bees.
Yep I still have two marks on my back right next to each other from where a wasp stung me about two summers ago
