Not really familiar with either in comics but after watching this Antman & Wasp trailer, wouldn't it make more sense for the Wasp to be a villain.

In real life wasps and hornets are like the dickhead versions of bees while bees themselves are very useful for life in general. Also wasps being terrible because they probably take some pleasure in stinging people since their stingers don't fall off unlike bees.
The movie will be very funny me thinks -- but they didn't highlight the comedy for some reason
