Rude pre WWF was meh. His WCCW and Florida stuff was ok. Had a good team with Manny Fernandez in Crockett but everything else was average . Meltzer thought he was going to bomb in the WWF. Had a shitty Wrestlemania 4 match, a good run with Warrior and that's about it. Did really well in WCW for 2 years and got hurt in Japan.
