Your problem Gertner is you are very set in your ways. It has to fit YOUR idea of wrestling to be any good. Women's wrestling sucks. Vanilla midgets suck. Smart crowds suck. Internet fans suck (even though you are probably the biggest fucking internet hipster smart fan there is). Not everything is so cut and dry.

Obviously some post mania crowds are irritating (especially in the past 3 years), but some of those original ones when it was organic were fucking awesome.

Think about it, this was during a time when crowds for the most part just sat on their hands and did fuck all unless it was saying "What". These fans actually reacted to stuff, and not in a way just to get themselves over, but more as a celebration of the whole mania experience. Of course, once they became self aware and WWE started marketing it, it started to stink.
