2) According to reports, Vivendi is very close to hitting the 30% share threshold needed to trigger a French law requiring Ubisoft to face an official takeover attempt. Vivendi is also reported to be reconsidering the idea of purchasing Ubisoft and could end up selling its shares in the company instead.
