This week's SmackDown averaged 2.952 million viewers. The audience was up nearly 20 percent from last week, but a fairer comparison would be the 2017 post-Mania episode -- which did 2.885 million. So, this year was up two percent from that mark ... With the two draft/shakeup episodes having been the highest rated SmackDowns since the show moved to Tuesday nights, that would indicate that next Tuesday's number could be even higher than this week's was. The 2018 Superstar Shakeup will take place on both Raw and SmackDown next week.

Helped a lot the usual competition this week for Smackdown was a lot weaker than usual.

WWE recorded video of Mauro Ranallo during TakeOver and posted some of his reactions. Percy Watson was announced as a new permanent fixture on the 205 Live announce team last night. Nigel McGuinness wasn’t on commentary for the show and will be back in two weeks, with it becoming a three-man booth after that.

Angelico and Jack Evans both announced their departures from Lucha Underground. Daisuke Sekimoto will be facing Shota Umino at NJPW’s Lion’s Gate Project show on May 15th. The Lion’s Gate shows usually feature young lions, outsiders from other promotions, and some of NJPW’s older veterans. The Young Bucks challenging for The Briscoes’ Tag Team titles, Six-Man Tag Team Champions Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky vs. Cody Rhodes, Hangman Page & Marty Scurll in a non-title match, and Dalton Castle & The Boys vs. The Kingdom have been added to the lineup for ROH’s TV tapings in Pittsburgh on Saturday. Flip Gordon will also challenge for Silas Young’s TV title.
